Important message from the Managing Director, regarding COVID-19 As at 09 Mar 2020

Dear Valued Partners

As the COVID-19 virus continues to pose challenges for worldwide medical and public health organisations, its impact on the inbound European Travel has expanded to more than just the source market of China. It has spread to countries beyond that.

We are experiencing rapid changes. Governments are updating the risk to travel from and to affected destinations from low to moderate or even high. This constantly evolving situation is having a damaging impact on our industry - clients and agents have to react promptly to the daily changes in guidelines.

Japan, also one of our key source markets, has raised its travel advisory alert from level 1 to level 2 for Italy’s northern regions of Lombardia, Veneto, Emilia Romagna. Since Sunday the 08th of March Lombardy and 14 other provinces have been officially quarantined with restrictions to travel in and out of these areas at the core of the containment program. This has regrettably once again resulted in short notice cancellation of tours with itineraries that include:

- The specifically named regions of Italy

And as a consequence of this advice, also affect travel to:

- Italy

- Italy's neighbouring countries

Other Asian source markets are experiencing similar updates, which is very likely to have similar outcomes.

Please rest assured that we continue to do everything possible to minimise the impact on our partners. While we appreciate that any last-minute cancellation will affect our suppliers badly, we can only react based on the information provided by our agents and take action accordingly.

We are

- Encouraging our customers to make decisions on future bookings at the earliest opportunity.

- Sending you cancellations as soon as they are notified to us.

This is a very difficult period we are all facing and we thank you for your understanding and continued support. We hope that the situation will stabilise soon in order that we can collectively invest our efforts into a more positive recovery programme.

Once again we thank you for your understanding and support at this difficult time and hope that the situation will stabilise and return to normal as soon as possible.

Your support in waiving any charges will be appreciated.

Kind regards

Adam Lotinga, Managing Director
