Job Role:

You will assist the contracting team in all aspects of the contracting process and be responsible for contracting FIT hotels in Indonesia as well as specified minor region if assigned for eBusiness Purchasing (eBP) by negotiating best possible rates, availability, terms and conditions between Miki Travel and the hotel sector through various sources e.g. Dynamic sourcing, channel Managers and static contracts.

Job Description:

As well as being a great career entry level opportunity, this is an important role as a member of the global contracting team, with the following responsibilities: -

• Sourcing and delivery for sale hotels nationally or within a given geographical region
• Direct negotiation with hotels and chains for competitive rates, allotments and favorable conditions
• Visiting and inspecting hotels on a regular basis to ensure good standards
• Maintaining and establishing new relationships with hoteliers
• Ensuring that all contracts are received to deadline and that contract conditions are met
• Dealing with any disputes between the hotelier and company
• Liaising with sales and operations to ensure maximum business with contracted hotels
• Travel as required
• A flexible approach dependent upon the business demands
• Fluency in local market languages and English essential

REQUIREMENTS (Qualifications & Skills):-

• Willingness and ability to work hard and irregular hours
• Self-motivated and inquisitive with a desire to learn
• Ambitious and competitive
• Good with figures and mathematics
• Enjoy dealing with people.
• Word/Excel experience would be beneficial
• Experience either in contracting or in the travel industry would be beneficial
• Enthusiastic, capable and highly organized, good personal presentation
