About the Department

The Asia Series Department handles Groups coming from Japan travelling around Europe, with same itineraries and different departures spread over a certain period of time. The Department handles the whole booking process and each staff has own areas of responsibilities as well as supporting the rest of the Team as and when needed. 

Job Purpose

We are currently seeking to recruit a Groups Operations Agent within our Asia Series Department

The role is designed to liaise with our office in Japan and ensure that all hotel amendments, reconfirmation requests and any rates are correct and up to date on our in-house computer system.

Main Responsibilities

• To contact hotels (by email/fax/phone) to advise rooming lists, arrival times, meal requirements etc.
• Prioritise the workload according to deadlines, arrival dates etc based on hotel requests
• Inputting and checking rates onto the in-house system
• Negotiating other conditions such as cancellation policies, decrease of rooms and upgrades.
